We would like to make a special little announcement about our newest member of Team Tasker Racing.........MUMMY T!!! 

Ann has been riding bikes since her and Peter met many years ago, they have always had a life full of motorbikes. Maw T has a 1993 Honda Fireblade that she has had since Andrew was born! Ann has always ridden the bikes on the road and along with Peter stood on the sidelines for many years watching Andrew & Sammi racing all 3 Motocross, Mini Moto's and the big bikes. After Paw T decided it was his turn to hit the track in 2016 she has finally decided its her time too. How awesome!! Unfortunatly due to COVID 19 she has not been able to have a lot of track time but managed to get out at Knockhill a few weeks back on her wee Ninja 400 and she loved it. Getting used to race shift is a little different as Maw T had only ever ridden with road shift but she took it in her stride and done amazing.

We cant wait for more fun times on track as a family of 4!

Well...2020 started off great we had a callander full of exciting trips, it was going to be a great one for Team Tasker. Unfortunately COVID 19 hit the whole world and everything stopped. It has been a tough time for everyone and we hope all of our amazing followers, friends, family and fellow racers have managed to safe through this awful time. Andrew, Paw T and Mummy T all had a trip booked to Catalunya near the end of May going from Spain to Italy to watch a round of the Moto GP with some more of the team meeting them there. This was obviously cancelled and we were all gutted but safety comes first! The team have a couple more trips booked towards the end of the year and we really hope we can get to at least one them. Andrew and Sammi had an open pitlane track day on Saturday 25th July at knockhill. Even though it was pouring with rain they had a great time being able to have a shot on their bikes. We are unsure what our next outing will be but we hope its soon!

Some of the team are just back from the first trip of 2020 back to Almeria in Spain with Track sense, another amazing track day company that we love! 

It was Andrew and Paw T on the trip, due to work commitments Sammi could not make it.

They had an amazing 3 days on track in the sun after what seemed like a looong winter, the fun didnt stop all togther over the off season as the team have been enjoying riding the Moto X bikes over the winter having lots of fun in the mud!

Andrew and Peter had a great time and are looking forward to the next trip at the end of May

Paw T was a single rider on Saturday at the last round of the year at East Fortune. It was Peters first race meeting back after getting rid of his orange novice vest, woohoo!

Peter had a great day and successfully finished both of his races.

The team were on their travels again to the almighty ASSEN!

Andrew and Paw T were first to try out the track on Friday for their first laps and had no other words apart from WOW!! Sammi arrived on Saturday and had an absolute blast on her Suzuki.

The trio took to the Knockhill track on the evening of 20th August for another SACU training night. Paw T was the firtst to try out the teams new toy a little 400! followed by Sammi and even Andrew managed to squeeze himself on it for a few laps. It was a great turn out and the sun was shining, we cant ask Knockhill for more than that!

The weekend of 10th/11th August was all about #797. Paw T took to the East Fortune circuit for a bit of racing on Saturday and he certainly got the weather for it. Peter successfully finished his race and got rid of his novice vest!! Well done Paw T!

We would like to say a huge thanks to Toutes Directions Limited for working around us to arrange a pick up date for Andrews bike after the Jerez trip, amazing service and very flexible.

A few weeks ago Andrew got asked about an unexpected trip to one of his favourite tracks...JEREZ. Of course he said yes and with only a few short days to get everything ready the road trip down south to drop off the bike, began. With the rest of the team unable to get time off work it was a solo rider trip with the great help of Mum T! Andrew enjoyed a brilliant 3 days on track underneath the blazing sun of Spain. Andrew had 1 small crash during one of his sessions but both him and the bike are okay.

Andrew and Mum T got home from Spain on Thursday 16th May and didn't have long to rest as the team were racing at East Fortune on Saturday 18th May. Paw T chose to race the Mille this weekend, Andrew also had his Mille as the zx10rr was not yet back from its travels and Sammi had her bright pink Suzuki. The aim of the weekend was for Andrew and Sammi to get signatures which allows them to keep their race licenses as without them they can not do track days unless you have a road license. Paw T already has his road license but couldn't miss out on the fun!

Sammi was first out for combined practice and qualifying but with the session being cut short due to a red flag Sammi only got 3 laps in total and without a preferred lap time this put her to near the back of the grid. Paw T and Andrew's turn next and Andrew put himself 2nd on the grid and Paw T 6th out of the Thunder Bikes as it was a mixed class. All 3 riders finished their races and it was mission accomplished. 

Next up is a training night at Knockhill on Tuesday 21st May.
